Brooke Holmes
Attorney
An accomplished attorney and author, Brooke Holmes, is licensed to practice in both Minnesota and Wisconsin. Brooke graduated from St. Cloud State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and went on to earn her Juris Doctorate from Mitchell Hamline School of Law in January of 2019. Since becoming licensed, she has been a zealous advocate for her clients inside and outside of the courtroom. That advocacy lead to her being awarded Minnesota Attorney of the Year in 2021.
Throughout the years, Brooke has specialized in high-conflict family law cases. While she strives to settle cases, the nature of taking on the high-conflict cases lends itself to being in court often. Brooke has extensive courtroom experience with significant success in getting her clients what they set out to achieve. She provides client-focused representation and is known for her compassionate, yet aggressive approach.
Brooke is a Rule 114 Qualified Neutral and is expanding her practice to provide mediation services for family law cases. She intends to continue her studies to become a Parenting Time Expeditor and Parenting Consultant in the near future to continue her assistance to parents in high-conflict cases.
When Brooke is not in the office, she is spending time with her husband and two daughters. They enjoy spending their weekends at the cabin on Lake Mille Lacs. Brooke also uses her legal background and experience in the courtroom to write legal thrillers to point out injustices in the judicial system. Her writing can also be found in the Mitchell Hamline Law Review.
